Selling the THG Quote

PS Team gives fleet operators of fully electric vehicles access to emissions trading, free of charge and without risk.

Since January 1, 2022, owners of fully electric vehicles can earn money from their reduced CO2 emissions. They can have their achieved reduction quota in greenhouse gases (THG Quote) certified by the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) and sell this on to fuel manufacturers who are unable to fulfill the legally stipulated CO2 reduction themselves. We can take care of this process on your behalf.

How does PS Team help in trading business?

1. Data recording

Our customers give us power of attorney to sell the THG Quote on their behalf. We collect all of the necessary data on the vehicle and vehicle owner. If we have previously taken care of vehicle registration, then we already have all the necessary information.

2. Application

We apply for the CO2 certificate at the Federal Environment Agency, including certification of the communication of energy quantities according to § 8, para. 1, p. 138 of the Ordinance on the implementation of the Federal Immission Control Act (BlmSchV).

3. Sale

We combine the quotas of all our customers and use these to negotiate the highest possible price when selling these packages to oil companies. Once the sale is completed, we pay out the benefit to our customers less a small commission.
