Once you have submitted your original tax assessment notices, we give them a unique barcode and scan them. The figurative marks are then stored in our system and the fields defined beforehand are read out. If this is not possible in exceptional cases, then we classify the notices for follow-up and enter the data by hand. We attach the created figurative mark to the data record as a file. Here, we work under the assumption that you have already consulted the responsible central customs office regarding the transmission of relevant tax data in electronic form. The electronic tax data transmitted by the central customs office is then added to the data record created when entering the original documents. If the amount stated is higher than that which is legally required for payment, then we file an objection with the central customs office and monitor the situation until the corrected tax assessment notice is received.
